Thanksgiving weekend Recap

So much to be thankful for and so much family to enjoy!
  • 11 adults and 7 kids under the age of five
  • A perfect Thanksgiving meal
  • Black Friday shopping, I was home by 5 am
  • Going to the country mercantile and having lunch and shopping
  • Eating pizza at Roundtable letting kids play in the arcade and losing George in the men's bathroom (found him crying with two very bruised fingers smashed in the door)
  • Spending the evenings playing Wii and watch Alfred Hitchcock movies with family
  • Decorating my house on the Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Having my brand new tree break and taking it back only to find out that the store has no more, then finding a slightly more expensive tree somewhere else, and loving it even more
  • Oh and planning a wedding, yes my lovely, crazy sister got engaged about two weeks ago (sorry lazy on the postings) and she will be getting married February 14 in the Columbia River Temple
  • Trying to locate a maternity bridesmaid dress ( I will be 9 months pregnant) oh yeah, gotta love those wedding pics!

I have a maternity bridesmaid dress. Not sure if it's the color you're looking for, but I was a "bridesmaid" when I was 8 months pregnant with Emily.

I'm afraid I must ask about your geneology (I found your blog on Mormon Mommies) because my maiden name is Spencer!

I just got a maternity "special occasion" dress on clearance at motherhood.com We are going to a christmas party tonight and I needed something. It was less than $20 and I was thrilled because it's not like I'm going to need it again.
Good Luck

Hmmm... Did your husband come from the Nauvoo Spencers? Orson or David? We're directly decended from Orson Spencer, who was one of the Mayor's of Nauvoo before the Saints came west.

That was fun to read your summary of Thanksgiving, and read so many things we all did together. It was a fantastic weekend. One of the best extended family gatherings I've been to, ever, in my life. It's so fun to be with people you love so much and get along with so well! Miss you guys!
