St. Patty's Day Race

This post is an ode to my terrific husband the all-star runner. John is such an amazing athlete, he participates in so many great races throughout the season as well as the triathlon each year. John not only works hard but he trains hard as well. He wakes up around 4 am and gets his day started with a hearty bowl of rice chexs. He stretches, runs (with Sam our dog in tow), showers, and then bikes to work. What a super guy! I can hardly muster up an afternoon walk let alone an hour or two of intense cardio. I am so glad that he has found running and that he loves it so much. Being in a running family now places me in the position of, A) do I take up running, B) do I stay a spectator wife and keep kids in tow or C) cheer from the sidelines like a manic when I see John come running down the finish line? Well, as of now I will resort to B) and C).

B and C are fine. Someday you will find time for A. That is great on how disciplined he is Sara. I just really admire people like that. I condsider myself a champion because I manage to get out of bed and make breakfast every morning. And then I wander the rest of the day. I loved your picture with the kids. So cute supportive family.

I kind of miss running.... kind of. Maybe it's just because I can't right now. :) Congrats to John.

Wow...he is a machine! I can't imagine being able to do that. Your boys look so cute bundled up in the little buggy.

I'm totally impressed. Back when you guys lived in our subdivision, I would sometimes see John running. I seriously admire his dedication.

very very impressive! I love B and C. I have never been a runner myself and know I would be no good at it. But if you wanna run, I say go for it!! :)
