Gratitude

2010

John: Always the best part of my day is when this man arrives at the door and all seems right in the world again. He has spent the major part of this year being care giver to me and the kids. He put up with a pregnant wife, three young kids, job changes, new callings, and all that comes with this life we love. He is amazing and just keeps getting better. His love for all thing ancient may drive me crazy at times, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

George: Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy! He is pure energy all wrapped in a big bow. He is one brilliant boy and amazes his parents constantly. Soccer, wii and slicker pants are just a few of his favorite things. He loved and adored mommys growing belly this year and is one doting brother to his sisters and brother. He is five and will be going to kindergarten next year, where has the time gone?

Jack: Nothing melts my heart like his big blue eyes. He is bursting with creativity and imagination. He grew up over night and now is just an independent boy. He went from being my little Jack Jack to just plain Jack. Purple, pjs, chocolate and lego men are his favorite things. He is tender and fierce, we spend are afternoons cuddling and snacking, I can't wait to see how he grows this next year and what is in store for him.

Eva: Miss personality, this girl runs the show and ever bossing everyone around. She loves to call for her brothers with this little screechy voice, "Georggggeeeee, Jaccckkkkkkk!" She attends nursery and is an old pro at singing songs and playing blocks. Blankets, binkys, bottles, daddy and babies are her favorite things. She is feisty and loving. I can only imagine what this next year will bring for her, she is ready to tackle some new adventures.

Scarlett: Bringing her in to this world was the best gift of this year. I was blessed to have her cared for by one of the most beautiful and talented women I know. She allowed me to experience the inner strength that goes undiscovered to often. She arrived surrounded by powerful women and one happy daddy. She has been pure bliss since day one. She is calming and is just beautiful.
