History has been made this day and I am thrilled and proud to be a part of it. I watched the swearing in of Barack Obama with my two boys next to me. They both clapped their hands after Obama's speech. It was a moment I will never forget. I looked into their eyes and realised that this nation is changing and we all are a part of it.
What a powerful event, to witness such a peaceful transition of power from one president to the next. I am grateful for living in this promised land and for having the power to vote and to let my voice be heard. Democracy is what makes this nation so great. Change is coming.

I agree it is a blessing to live here and watching the peaceful transfer of power was phenomenal. As for the presidency, I'm still not sold yet.
