Memory Lane

Here is a fun little game... leave a comment on my blog of a memory you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time. It can be funny, embarrassing, whatever. Anything that you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

My first memory is of book club at your house. I remember reading the book and showing up ready to go. I was so overwhelmed with everyones intelligence, especially your super insightful comments. I left not saying a word. I've been to a couple since and left without contributing much either. I remember thinking you have a super sharp mind, I was impressed. My feelings have been confirmed after reading your blog for a few months.

One of my first memories was talking to you at Super Saturday after you had just moved in the ward. You had painted you craft sign and it looked amazing. I knew then that you were very talented!

I was so excited when you moved into 6th ward. I remember when we went walking (was it like twice?!) but the converstaion was great! It is one of my favorite memories of walking. It is so nice to find people who can carry on a great conversation (don't you hate the akward silences?) Which reminds me that we should go walking again! :) Although it is oh so much harder to get out with 2 kids.
Hope to see you soon!

I remember when we first met! You were sixteen and just moved in. You were a sophomore at Richland High and I was a chubby, long-haired seventeen year old senior. You were wearing a pair of khaki shorts and a red shirt, with no glasses. I remember you hanging out with Andrew Jorgensen and you had a birthmark on your neck. You took one look at me with my cut-off slacks, wallet chain, suspenders hanging down, chuck tailors, taxi-cab hat, and oh yes....my doctor scrubs shirt and looked the other way.

Oh - my memory is a little embarrassing! When I remember your wedding, I remember being so sick. Sadly, that is all remember about the day. One day we will have to get together and look at pictures of your big day, so I can have some other memories, other than throwing up in the bathroom of the church building. Ugh.

Oh - and I should mention that I was pregnant. Yay for morning sickness!

My first memory of you is when you came visiting teaching to me. It was shortly after you moved into the ward. You were doing preschool or something and I was teaching.
My most favorite memory of you is how we always run into each other at Costco (but that hasn't happened for far toooooo long) because we are both such costco fans!

I'm cracking up at John's comment!

Too many memories... how about the time you specifically told me John was allergic to mustard and I brought dinner after Jack was born. I remembered just after I knocked on the door that the ribs totally HAD mustard powder in the sauce!! What a loser, right??

Glad he didn't die...

My earliest memory of you is when your family moved to Camano Island and you such a cute little girl. But, my favorite memory is when I came home for Christmas when I was engaged and you were staying with my family and I couldn't believe how much you had grown up and then I asked you bot be my bridesmaid and you were so excited. You looked so cute on my wedding day!

I remember when you and John moved into 6th ward and my first thought was how cute this newlywed couple was with their almost matching glasses. I also loved your hair. You were short and sassy like no other and it looks SO good on you!

I meant you WEAR short and sassy, not were ;)

How cute you were with your hair and glasses. But you were suppose to go to camp, and then you ended up with child. I was so excited for you. But I really remember your cute shop you had by the Spudnuts. I loved that store. I still have some great books from there and also Johns CD.

One of my favorite memories with you was when I walked down to the beach because I was frustrated with the family and you and I walked along the beach talking.
